Preparation for Employment

Right after graduation the former students collide with the problem of employment and career planning. Usually educational institutions have special department which helps their students to determinate with their future career plans and realize their job wishes. Usually during their last year of studying in the college or university the students have to attend special classes which are devoted to chosen major and career building. It is very important and the students have to pay their attention on this essential information. If the students have chosen an applied major, they must have also one or two semesters of practice to develop their practical skills and abilities. This practice is usually provided by the educational institution and each student has mentor in the college or university who answer on all question and give consultations.

Usually after graduation the employees pay their attention first of all ob such moments in the resume of the candidate as prior work experience and educational background. Those people who graduated from the university usually are ready for the practical work. It refers first of all to such majors, as accounting, finance, management, marketing, mathematics, etc. but there are some majors which require additional prior practical experience of the candidates. The graduates need hand- on trainings. To be ready for the practical work right after graduation the students must find part time work during the years of studying.

During the studying students can also prepare for the future practical work in the other way. The students can participate in the class projects. It gives the students the skills if researches and develops leadership’s skills, abilities to work in team and under a pressure. Besides, the students learn how to make all essential tasks in time. Moreover, such experience teaches the students to share their opinions and thought and to be independent and creative.

Some educational institution arrange for their students special career days. The students can communicate with employees during this day and ask all questions they are interested in. Besides, colleges and universities often arrange special career fairs. During this fair the students can receive all essential information about the trends on the contemporary labor market.
