How to Improve the Memorizing Process

According to the researches the people remember better those things which they will be use in the future and revise several times. It means that when the people read or hear new information which they have to remember they must repeat it several times to fix in the mind. The people must see future application of their knowledge and skills. In this case they will use them in a proper and the most effective way. Process of memorizing and effectiveness of this process is especially important for students.

There are four main factors which can help the students to study in the most effective way. These factors are: finding of the individual goals of studying; ideas organizing, supplementing of the author`s thoughts and judging of the idea`s worth. These four factors together describe the process of thinking. The process of memorizing has much in common with the process of thinking and means itself the attempts of the people to impress some information into the mind with the aim to reproduce this information in the future.

There is a proverb which still actual is: “repetition is the mother of studies”. People in their current life also need to memorize some things, so this process is very useful for all people.

The material which must be memorized have to be good organized in the proper order. The information which contains the well organized system of thoughts is usually good material for memorizing. Such information is memorized for many years. Some people have phenomenal memory, but even people with ordinary memory abilities can memorize complicated materials if they are given as a simple system. The best methods to improve the process of memorizing are: associations, links between the paragraphs, summaries, questions, proper order of material, repetition, application, creative approach and good time management.
