In the past the good relations with the colleagues and boss, perfect performance of the work responsibilities and the diligence provided the advancement in the career and the rise of the salary. But nowadays everything changes. 

Graduated the university with the engineering degree I understood that I do not want to be an engineer. I found a job in the America Online Corporation in the department of the customer service. I did not what to do in the future and how to build the career. 

The America Online Corporation was the beginner in the global Internet sphere. I was working in the AOL during 10 years and became finally the head of Corporate Training in the company. 12000 people were in my subordination. 

But I wanted to occupy the higher position and thought that I deserved it. But my boss told me that I did not have enough experience and knowledge for this position. I was amazed. The candidate from the outside was invited on the desirable position. I thought that it was the end of my career, but I decided to leave the AOL Company and to begin new stage in my career life. I was 33. 

I did not know what went wrong. But soon I understood that I need to be bodacious. The synonymous of the word “bodacious” are audacious, unmistakable and bold. For me the bodacious person is that person which is the master of the own life and career. In the career it means to have the audacity to learn and control own behavior and to determine the directions of the activity; to be ready to run risks in the work and to take the serious and important decisions. Sometimes being bodacious means to have courage to change the current lifestyle and to change the work. All the decision in the life depends only on the person.
